Default Brake problems

I got no pedal. Just goes straight to the floor. There is a little bit of brakes there, but very scary to drive. The ABS light is on, but the code that its throwing is for the brake light switch, which I have replaced. Is this a code that I have to reset to get rid if, and if so, how? I went to the autocrafts shop on post and bled each corner, and no air came from any end. The truck stopped fine, then sometime last week I started having this trouble. I checked the master cylinder and it was way low, near empty even. So Im thinking that there is still air somewhere in the abs block. I can hear a whooshing sound coming from that block when the brakes are stepped on. Is there a way to bleed that then the rest of the system? Any ideas? Anyone? Bueller?

Rebleed your brakes, and always make sure that the brake reservoir is kept full when you do it.
And make sure that all of your vacum lines are connected.

Default RE: Brake problems

If the brake pedal is soft and you pump it up and get more "pedal" then you need to replace the master cylinder.

If the brake pedal is hard "no power assist" then the vacuum booster may have gone out or you have a vacuum leak on a hose.

The whooshing could be the vacuum booster getting over extended as the brake pedal would not go as low as it is now.
