You caould have warped rotors.
Pull the fuse to the ABS pump and see if the problem is still there.

I pulled the 40 amp abs fuse and went for a short drive and the brakes feel the same, so it appears the abs is ok. I will bleed the brakes and then look at the master cylinder. Thevacuum pump was replaced a few services ago so that should not be a problem.

Thanks for your advice

Speaking of ABS fuses, does anyones ABS block (top of drivers side front fender, next to PS fluid) make noises after the car is turned off? The noises are very quiet, and continue going regardless of how long the car has been turned off.... sounds a lot like the noises they give computers on TV when they give them personalities.... ala Tron in the 80's.... everything works just fine, more of just a curiosity...

Thanks

04Blu-The pump is not supposed to run all night. maybe for a minute after you turn the truck off, but not all night. It will run your battery dead. You need to get it looked at.

Wizard-Replace your fuses and have your brakes looked at, you might have warped rotors. We have ruled out the ABS so that is where I would start next.

Spike555

Thanks again, ruling out the ABS has saved lots of money, will look at rotors.

Cheers
