Not everyone off roads.
They are stuck to the wheel, not the brake, they are about 1/8" thick and go between the wheel and the hub, so however far the inside of the wheel is from the brakes the shield will be the same distance from the brakes.

Thanks for all the replies/comments. I think I'll still hold off on trying them. I can find other things to spend my money on. Just ordered a set of new tires Nitto Terra Grapplers 255/60-18. So, that was a big chunk of change to shell out. My next project is going to be checking out the drive shaft on both D2's and then looking into painting the headliners.
