Default Broke the wiring harness connector trying to replace crank sensor

Hey all. Title about sums it up. I was trying to replace the crank sensor and when removing the old sensor I think broke the clip off the wiring harness that’ll hold the new connection in place. Can anyone point me towards a video or anything to reference? I’m not even sure where to start other than getting a new connector at rock auto (per this thread: https://landroverforums.com/forum/discovery-ii-18/where-does-crank-position-sensor-plug-into-top-90293/) I’m wondering what I need to do to do the replacement. Thanks.

I'd just cut a 4" x 4" access in the driver's fender well. (simply make 2 cuts bottom up then fold up) It makes this process much, much easier, then just secure with small zip ties.

I read about that small zip tie solution to hold it in place a while back -I suffered the same fate as you- but proved to be a pain getting one hand in there to grab both and plug them when the clip not broken, so gave up the idea to add a small zip tie to the mix, and simply left it as is ...thankfully many seasons have gone by and it seems to be stuck to each other so far ...also read about KILLERKAW's window solution a few weeks ago, and it is definitely on my to-do list when access is needed back in there.

Ha, thanks for the suggestions, but I gave up in frustration after I literally got my arm stuck and had to spend 20 minutes wiggling out and paid a mechanic to do it for far too much money. I think once this is done, I'm going to put it on BaT and be done with it.
