Default broken down, maybe transmission?

Driving down the road today in my 2001 D2 v8, and left a stop light, saw a small puff of smoke from front then billowing white smoke from the rear. Pulled over into a parking lot, had no go at all. Engine running fine, Temps fine. But not forward or reverse. No major mods, slightly bigger tires. And a vijay front bumper (awesome). Lots of reddish (trans fluid) pouring out from front passenger side. Is there a line that runs up that side? I don't see any fluid from tyranny itself. All of it is from front passenger side. What do you think?

Likely a transmission cooler line failed - take a look at Rave and you can track the route the line takes

And this will not necessarily result in a bad trans. Losing all the fluid will cause no drive, the smoke is likely the trans fluid spraying all over the hot engine bay and burning off. BTDT. The quick connect fittings on the coolers in these trucks are diabolical, and likely the cause of the problem. Sort that out, refill the trans and you're back in business. Good luck.

I had this issue after changing out my radiator. I hit the highway a few days after the rad install and no go. RPM's hitting red zone but felt like the Flintstones out there. Smoke barreling out the back. It was quite the show.....Tail between my legs as the flatbed tow pulled up. Thought I had the quick disconnect on but these things really suck as they age. Hopefully just a blown line. Refill and on your way!!

Looks like the rubber part of the trans cooler line blew out on the top one close to crimped part of quick disconnect. I'll remove and get a hose shop to rebuild it. Thanks for the info, everyone.
