The Freelander 1 has the same turn signal assembly (but in with a clear lens) as our Disco 2 which is sometimes cheaper.

Thanks y'all, maybe I'll try the silicone next. I used hot glue and it seemed to hold, but the next morning both indicators had popped out on their own - hadn't even driven anywhere since gluing. Maybe that was because the glue set too quickly. It's still somewhat sticky, so I pressed them back and we'll see how that goes. I could try using a heat gun to reheat the glue and see if that helps, since the glue might have set too quickly the first time, or I could get the glue off and try to get it glued really quickly, but it glued very fast, at least with the glue sticks that I had around... Silicone wouldn't set that quickly, and I'm hoping it wouldn't damage the paint.

Yes I can attest to this as well. Probably even closer to 3 years at this point on my repair. Given the amount of time it has lasted for and money spent to repair it, I wouldn't even mind it coming off very much at this point and having to do it again. No signs of coming loose yet though

About using silicone - This might be better than a glue gun since it doesn't set as quickly. The glue gun glue set so fast I'd hardly run glue around the thing and it was already mostly set so it wouldn't stick well. A hot day allowed me to jam the thing back in there a bit better, but I didn't have the best luck with it - could've been that it was just hot that day and it set too fast. I'll try silicone next. Do you use the RTV type from a squeeze tube or the caulking gun tube type? Cheers

Or if you want to look really cool when using your turn signal you could buy this pair for $30 on Amazon

Amazon Amazon

They are Tron looking and LEDs that swipe forward. Here is my video. They look better in person.and are a slower travel. I apologize ahead of time about the audio.

I bought the Tuff-Rok smoked sweeping LEDs. They're pretty cool.

Default Side markers

Would be a pretty easy part to 3D print...

I may have a couple laying around - I think they’re amber but they may be clear. PM me and I’ll send to you if you want them.
