Brush Bar Questions On Disco 2 (2003)
Hello,
I have a quick question for the forum members, is the Brush bar for the Range Rover HSE (Part # VUB000780/90 http://www.bputah.com/RR44/rr44brush1.jpg the same as the LandRover discovery's (PN STC53175) Rover Connection-Land Discovery Brush Bars ? The reason I ask is that I am in the market to purchase this style of Brush Bar (modular steel tube style) for my Discovery 2 (2003) but I'm unable to find a it for a reasonable price (like $600 out the door) anywhere on the internet, I know that there rare but $800-$1000 to is a litte excessive.
P.S.
I apologize in advance if link posting is not allowed, I just joined and have read the rules but did not see a section specifically to linking other sites.

All,
I Just thought I would give a quick update to my problem, unfortunately the Range Rover bar does not fit on the 2003-2004 Discovery without serious modifications. it looks like the brush bar inner tubes need to be cut by an inch to meet up with the frame on the Land Rover, I think this is a result of a slightly bigger grill bumper assembly on the Range Rover HSE. Again, unless you want to make this a custom job I would not recommand this Bar for a LR Discovery.
Thanks,
Disco Safari

dont wast your money on a O.E.M one, just about every land rover I see w the O.E.M brush guards are either bent up or cracked depending upon the model.I took mine off as it was pushed into the fender and bumper, they cause more damage in crashes.Shell out the money and get a good steel one w the brush guard welded onto the bumper, look around they go for a$400- $1200.oo.

Thanks for the input guys, I really like the way the OEM bars look, the remind me of the brush bars on the old school defenders (the old school safari vehicles) that's the style I'm trying to replicate. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to find that style of bar in the after market world?
Thanks again
Thanks again
