Going to need modification to go on the 04 in the photo for sure.

Awww crap. Didn't even think about that. How serious of a modification are we talking about? Is it the front mounting bracket?

Probably a little trimming on the bumper. They went through the bumper on the 9o-02, didn't they?

That brush guard fails at the mounts.

Look at the mounts where they attach to the horizontal pipe. They start with a small crack and it slowly grows. I've welded a couple already just so they can be used longer.

I had the fab shop re weld the mounts to make them stronger before they powder coat. Hopefully they won't fail for at least a couple years. lol. I don't mind cutting into the plastic middle bumper since it already has a huge crack in it. Just concerned that when I get in there the mounts aren't going to fit or something like that.

And use this installation guide for the 2003-2004 D2s as a cross reference on the mounting points for your own truck

Thanks acg. Looks like it can mount just fine to my 04 with the existing brackets. It seems that they just changed up the design for the 03-04 and have it mount to different spots on the side. I could be wrong. In the process of dropping the bumper to be sure.

You will have to do a little cutting of existing bumper. The PO of min had an aftermarket on installed, I took it off.
They changed the brush guard on the 04 to a single piece unit with no "wings" covering the lights. If I remember correctly, it had something to do with the EU.
