Default Brush Guard w/ Front License Plate - Help Please!

Hi Disco folks,
My wife and I just bought our first Land Rover, a 2003 Discovery SE. It's got a few maintenance issues that needed to be brought up to snuff (headliner decided to droop 2 weeks after we got it, right front passenger door actuator is very intermittent) outside of what we've already done (rear brakes and valve cover gasket, added bluetooth GROM adapter), but we're very excited about the new truck.

The biggest thing I need immediate help with is, surprisingly, getting my front license plate on. We bought the truck from a private party in Indiana, where front plates are not required, and drove it back to our home in the fascist police state of Chicago. As the previous owner did not have a front bracket, I've been searching high and low to figure out what bracket I need to mate with my brush guard. My google-fu is strong, and I've been searching the forums here, at discoweb, and a few other places, and I can't find a good answer, much to my shock.

Because I haven't been able to find any good information, I had my wife swing by the Orloff Land Rover dealership after work on Friday, and they looked at our truck, and '2-Disco owning' Parts-Manager Pat sent her home with Land Rover OEM Part# DRB 100390. I have no idea whatsoever how I am supposed to make these two parts work with each other. This is coded as a part for the rear of the truck, but he insisted it worked with the brush guard.

I can of course head back over there on Monday and talk to them, but I was hoping some of you guys can help. I can't be the only person that needs a front plate on this brush guard, I've seen the same guard on range rovers and discos all over the place. I'll attach photos below, if anyone can help it would be VERY appreciated. We have already gotten 1 $60 ticket for no front plate (despite the fact that you have 30 days to register the vehicle with the state, which we have already done, yet we have not even owned the truck for a month. Gotta love getting plate tickets when the truck doesn't even need to be registered yet)

not sure but could you just drill a couple of holes in the center of the 2 cup insert thing or self tap it from the inside.

you can buy the expensive plate hold or just use a couple self tapping screws. You should put some antiseize on the self tappers I just had a fight getting mine out.
