Bump. CDL wiring ?'s
Hey y'all,
I have installed a transfer case from what I was told a 2001 D2 with CDL into my 03 discovery. (current build)
from what I am gathering the neutral safety switch is in the shifter handle of the 03 and the 01 xfer case is on the front output shaft with a lead of 2 wires. This leaves me not being able to shift into low as the ECU is not sensing a safe signal from the Xfer case. (that's if the solenoid is good)
Is there anyone with any experience to just run two wires extended to connect or is it a matter of taking the solenoid out completely due to a incompatibility.
Thanks in advance

Thanks Rover Hokie,
I figured that would be the answer to the situation. Was very curious as to the wiring trying to make it easier than pulling out a solenoid but rather put a new one in and use as intended. Good luck with your project, I am going to go ahead and try the wiring idea and see what I can burn out.
