Default Buying 2004 Transfer Case and Front Diff

I'm trying to get a hold of a locking Transfer Case and a front diff for my Disco. The usual places I go to are either out of stock or covered in snow so they can't pull one out.. Now these are salvaged parts, but they're cleaned, tested and come with a year warranty.

I've found a bunch of salvage places that I can get these from, but I worry about the quality. I don't want to be replacing in the next year or two. Might be a silly question as its probably down to maintenance, but how many miles are these rated for? Should I set a limit and not get one pulled out of something with over 80k? Is there anything I should look out for?

Any advise (Or places I could get a cheapish cleaned or rebuilt TC and front diff for under 1000 shipped) would be much appreciated.

Check out Goldwing or RoverGuy. It’s not really the mileage you need to worry about, it’s more the age of these parts now. Rubber o rings and other seals are likely done and would recommend a reseal before you install.
