Probably not a good daily driver for most people including myself. 12-13 mpg hurts! With that said, I love my truck, I drive it 1-2 times a week, has been expensive to keep since I owned it 3.5 yrs ago (just installed a used 2004 motor last year). But the feel I get when I drive it is like no other. Go for it! Oh, other than Jeep owners, you get a lot of good comments while out wheeling.

Thank you everyone for your kind replies. I figured it was a common question and sure enough someone else had a similar post two threads later. Thank you! As much as I appreciate all the help and expertise I have gotten on the Bimmer forums, they are not so hospitable.
