No, I disconnected my flux capacitor - I got sick of ending up in the 70's, too much polyester and Disco (not Disco's ha,ha, they were really cool).
I just went out to the truck, my problem was a very noisy (and small) fan located to the left of the steering column. Pop the fuse panel below the dashand look up. My fan was very gummed up, it looks like it cools the electronics or something.
Now I'm wondering why my idle solenoid hums so much when the ignition is on. I can put my hand on it and feel ithumming like crazy, that's not normal huh?

That's what those vent holes are for??!! When I was wiring the switch for the HID's I saw some brown gunk and attempted to clean it out. I'll have to take a closer look and see if I can find that fan. Mine is not making a noticeable sound, but prevention is key with these trucks, right?
