Thought I would mention that I rebuilt mine with a clutch kit. Here is a link to what it looks like, but I would check the Bay for a better price.

i did mine mine more than a year ago and it has fixed my problems of chirping and burning. Actually the old clutch totally fried and burned the belt to where I needed a new one. This kit fixed it and you can install while on the truck so you don’t have to worry about recharging the system.

Edit: The burning smell is most likely the rubber in the clutch, not the belt. The kit above would fix that too.

That's really helpful, THANK YOU! I hope I can keep the compressor and just change the pulley and parts. I have a new mechanic looking at it in the am so...keeping my finger crossed!
