Default Seized Pulley???

My serpentine belt broke the other day. Got a new one and replaced it, but the new one smoked something awful and broke almost right away. I got my LR3 back home (on a tow truck) and now have removed the broken belt again. I checked all the pulley's and the only want that will not spin by hand is the A/C compressor. Is that normal or do I have a seized pulley?
If I do, what can be done?

Thanks for any help and input.

If it won't spin you need an AC compressor.

Could also be clutch pulley bearing seized. If clutch and pulley not damaged could be as simple as a clutch pulley bearing replacement, Complete clutch assemble can also be replaced without opening the system. DIY can often save the expense of replacing comp/clutch assembly and needing to have the system serviced. Bearing or clutch replacement is fairly easy depending upon access/location.

Most repair shops are going to sell/install comp and service your system and cost some large change.
