Default A/c drain location

well my wife moved my other lady while I was on a train and when I got back in, I noticed the carpet was wet on the passenger floorboard while I was installing the 03' slabs unit abran sent me. I'm thinking it's a possible clogged a/c drain, she left the door cracked some, or when I put the roof rails back on, it didn't seal great with the tropical storm that has been swamping Alabama this week.

Just behind the center console, and the footwell vents you should see two rubber looking lines (one on each side).

Well I got the floor dry but didn't have time to check the drains today as I had stuff to get done on my honey do list also.

I just jam a length of coat hanger in mine every now and again. Cleans them out just fine. But warning you will get wet with some black water that's best not to think about.

I completely remove the nipple on both drains under the D2.

My driver's side has a hose connected to the nipple and the passenger side doesn't. I'll have to get a wire clothes hanger

Go VERY easy with a wire hanger to "clear" a/c evap drain hoses. OR use a small diameter clear plastic hose. These drain hoses are NOT a hard plastic like a sunroof drain and are easy to put a hole through. You can see in the pics that the hose is corrugated and that's where a wire will make a hole. It's also very easy to knock the hose off on the interior (top) with a coat hanger wire.
Also when you pull back the carpet to expose the drain, for piece of mind put a small amount of RTV adhesive on the top hose before you reinstall. Put some RTV on the floor grommet too. Works like a champ.

Keep in mind these drains usually only get blocked at the very bottom nipple like Best4X4 mentioned. I remove these as well on every RRC, DI, DII for years. Good Luck!
