Default A/C drainage,,,

so as some of you know i was having a issue with my passenger floorboard getting damp. so today as i was changing the oil in the rover i found the little drainage tubes that drain the A/C. i swiped my finger across the passenger side drain and water immediately began to rush out of it. within a few minutes there was easily a quart of water on the floor. it tuned into a slow drip by the time i was finished with the oil swap.

later went to brunch and when i got back to the truck there was easily a saucer sized water spot under the A/C drain and it was dripping once every 3 seconds or so.

got home and parked the rig and within 20min there was another saucer sized spot of water.

is thing ever gonna stop??? NOTE,,,, i was not using the A/C or defroster. does that much water really back up in there? crap!!!

There are two drains and I think that they hold 6 gals each.

There could have been some leftover in the piping. When I see two drips after getting home I know the drains are good. If it's been a week or so I'll take a look underneath. My problem is I usually think about it when I get home and everything is still hot.

a whole lot more came outta the passenger side vs. the driver side.

which might explain the wet passenger floor boards[8D]

The draininge tubes are bigger in diameter than you would think plus, they are quite long.
