Default A/C Fan output subpar

Hey guys,

New to the land rover world. A/C blows good and cold if running down the road. Force of the air coming out is subpar in the front. Rear air blows hard. Coming from the jeep and chevy world. Do the blower motors get clogged up with leaves/dirt/etc causing a lack in air movement?

My problems:

A/C gets warm when sitting
Front a/c not blowing hard enough.

I have taken off the fan guard and cleaned the radiator and a/c condensor thoroughly....any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is your electric fan coming on when you turn on the ac? If not, it is most likely seized or the fuse is blown or both. Yes, the blowers can suck in leaves and need to be cleaned now and then. Also check the filters just under the cowl. If you have cold ac while moving, but it warms up when sitting, it could just be low on freon.

You could go to Walmart and get the ac recharge kit read directions and do yourself x two on low on freon.

if the rear AC is working fine it has nothing to do with being low on freon, it is a fan issue. check the rave i believe the fan uses a resister, do you get a 4 or 5 fan speeds?

And when you drop the fan (below glove box) be careful, they are expensive, but just 3 bolts. Very common to be full of leaves, hood insulation, mice nests, pine straw. If yours is full, may get the fan speeds, just not the flow you want. I replaced my pollen filter as in the tech area write up, and I cut another piece of filter material and shoved it in the fresh air intake that feeds from below the windshield area straight down to the fan cavity, just to slow down how much crap gets sucked in there from the swirling stuff in the engine compartment.

I believe it is either dirty or clogged or the ac is not switching all the way over to the dash only vents. I getall speeds on the fan. It should just be putting out more air... ddefrost blows good and hard. Swap over to dash vents only and they blow hard for about a second and then air cuts down about 25% in speed...

Where are those filters located? And where would I go about checking for leaves/debris to clean out? Thanks

From the tech are, home of great DIY work arounds and repair tips - https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...acement-32561/

fan info attached from RAVE. Will look like this inside center, once crap comes down inside it is hard to escape.
