prolly too cool to need it. it's like 62 over there. I think nature is your axillary fan, today. you would actually need it to warm up under the hood. your ambient needs to be 82f

Either way.. it's locked up solid. I haven't used the air con since I last March. then I went on nights at work and didn't need it. Back on days and 100* days with humidity don't agree with me (or most people).

I've read on here about replacing just the motor. I'd rather not get a used part or buy a new one due to the ridiculous cost. Any info on that?

" I'd rather not get a used part or buy a new one due to the ridiculous cost. Any info on that?" It's been a bit of a hectic day over here, but are you sayin' you don't want to buy a used part or a new part? that kinda narrows the options.

I think some folks have had luck with fan motors from Paul Grant. Mine was just unplugged. Literally. Right at the fan. Plugged it in and its been whirring since then. Anyway, a jammed one needs replacing, like you said. check Paul or one of the parts guys, and there's some write-up's if you search.

the fan in my 00 was running the other day with the AC on. My temp wasn't close to 212.

Where did you sage the motor from dusty?

I actually forgot about Paul Grant. If I cannot replace just the motor I get in touch with him. I'd like to avoid buying a used part to be honest. There is no guarantee how long they will last.
