Default Cabin lights stay on, Horn blows when locking and Door not locking on bipper

Hi people,
new here and know very little but can appreciate logic and grammar.
basically the D2 has an internal light on for a very long time, the central locking from the key does not lock the vehicle and the horn blows when you try.

it sounds like a door is open but it isn’t. I have slammed them all shut several times. Could it be water damaging something? One of the two sunrooves? Luckily nothing has been nicked yet. Can operate the central locking internally but not ideal.
I have checked all doors are shut.
One thing, the alarm went off on Saturday for no seemingly obvious reason.

so thanks and any help appreciated.

It sounds like the BCU thinks one of the doors is open, whether it is or it isn't, which is why the light(s) stays on. After about 20 min the lights go out regardless, even it a door is wide open. Perhaps one of the switches inside the lock actuator is wonky and even though it's locking and unlocking correctly, the internal limit switch isn't closing to notify the BCU of the current state. The hood limit switch will also cause the horn to beep when locking with the fob (if the hood isn't closed) but since the interior lights stay on then I think it's likely one of the five door lock actuators.
