Hey all,
cable snapped and I’ve drilled a few holes in the anti theft device. I’ve been reading and I’m hearing pull this or push that. I’ve attached a photo. Could someone tell me what to push/pull to open the hood?

I don't know what to do if it gets stuck closed. I added a secondary cable to the mechanism that can be accessed under the truck if this would happen. I used some bike brake cable and ran it down under the bumper and tucked it in there.

Cable runs right behind DS headlight, if it is a 99-02 you cap pry headlight forward loose from retainers and get at it there.
