Default calibrating the speedometer?

How easy it it for a LR mechanic or Dealer to recalibrate a 2000 Discovery II’s speedometer and is it expensive? I have a GPS and a Scan Guage II and both show a 5 km/3 mile difference (I live in Canada).

Default RE: calibrating the speedometer?

As far as I know, your speedo can not be recalibrated to correct your small error. Because of a tire size change and different diff gears my speedo if off by 3 MPH and the odometer is off by 11%. I just learned to live with it.
