Do you do a lot of hard core off-roading? That's really the only reason to spend the big bucks on a TW or GBR propshaft. Or if you have over a 3" lift.

Like I said above I got it up to 70 and it was completely smooth. My brakes from sitting several weeks were awful though...is that normal?

Thanks for the info KBW. I'm glad to hear that it all went smooth for you.
I'll order one from TW tomorrow.
I don't do much off roading yet but I figured I would get a TW now and rebuild my original to keep as a spare.
I guess I'm a little intimidated by the rebuild but want to give it a shot anyway but without the pressure of actually needing the shaft.

Yes, your brake rotors were covered in rust and the noise was the rust being worn off.
Happens in hours if it is raining.
Just look through your rim and you can see the rust on the rotors if the truck has been sitting or 12 hours after it has been raining.
