The crank sensor controls spark.
The cam sensor controls injector pulse.
If the inertia switch is tripped it is supposed to kill the fuel pump only.
Reset the inertia switch, press it for 3-5 seconds and then try and start the truck.

p0317 is a rough road fault, also. & your symptoms remind me of it tripping, it's free and easy to check, just push it down.

It's worth trying.
yup, that is the first thing that i checked.

thanks

Do you know what causes no spark and no injector pulse?

A quick question:

Does my car(Discovery 1996 land rover 4.0) have a main relay, ignition module or power relay?

Yes, yes and yes. Relays are under the kick panel on the passenger side. They are a standard Bosch relay. The ignition module is under the steering column/dash panel and hooks into the fusebox and the ignition (back of the key).
