Can’t get my lug nuts off....
Umm.... I can’t get my lug nuts off my D2.
I've literally stood on the tire iron and jumped up and down and they don’t move at all.
am I doing something wrong here??

@Carlos Man You are not but some other idiot was way over torqued. I suggest a tire shop with an impact gun, or a long breaker bar to get them loose then about 85-100 lbs of torque when you put them back. Check after your 1st drive just in case and you are done.
I’m gonna order a 1in impact socket and put a pipe on my breaker bar. See if that helps at all.
im also soaking them in WD40 right now.
if not I guess I’ll go see a tire shop with a impact and have them loosen them up for me.
ive read on here just now even some impact wrenches have failed. Getting kinda worried.

An impact will ruin the stainless cover causing you to buy new lug nuts. It rounds them off.
Get a socket and a breaker bar, place the bar at a horizontal position and place a Jack under the bar or pipe. No heavy work needed.
Also, keep the truck on the ground to help break them lose.

Another way....which isnt my favorite, is to place a lug wrench onto the lug and then drive forward or reverse.
Only use in extreme life threatening situations like a gun fight in a combat zone. Perform task slowwwwwly.

don't use an impact device. you need to be able to control the torque. get a breaker bar and a socket, and extend it with a piece of pipe if necessary. i had to use a 5' length to get some of mine loose when i first got it.
the reason i recommend not just attacking it with an impact wrench is that the studs can break free in the hub and start to rotate, and then you're really screwed. i had to literally cut one of my wheels off when this happened.
