Can you guys take a look at these head and block photos to give me input?

Obligatory second opinion on head and block condition. Just popped off the heads. The only symptoms I had was a never-ending battle with air in the coolant system and the loss of about an 1" of coolant every 1000 miles. There was a water AND oil leak running down the back of the passenger side block. 188,000 miles, and the HGs look original. It was time to replace them. And fun. Was pleased to see there wasn't any steam cleaning of any cylinders.

Off hand all looks fine to me. I would throw a straight edge on the block for piece of mind. Otherwise give it a good clean drop the heads off at a machine shop.

Right, will do. I can't feel anything with my fingernail where the liner meets the block, so probably all good.
