It is not much to see now as all the plumbing intake etc...covers up most of the motor. But I will shoot some new pics tomorrow weather permitting.

some pics. Not too fancy other than the ceramic coated manifolds and the bead blasted cyl covers and oil pan....they did paint the block black as well

I don't know this engine?Where is all the protective oil build up?

Thanks I should have shot a pic when I first received this TReK back in Nov 12 sight unseen....the motor was covered in black oil, Head gaskets shot, the PS pump was split wide open. The transfer case was leaking oil all over and the Diff was also leaking (at the axles)... I thought what the hell did I do buying a LR Disco 2.....my mechanic/friend did everything to try to talk me out of buying it. Well long story short, I am stubborn as hell..and finally this LR is worthy for what it is...much help from many including The Shop, RTE Fab, RVR Barn and Cannibal V8 and many others to get #5 TReK back to better than new..

What front bumper is that? I like it. I have been looking at a TJM, but I really like the one you have there sir.
