Cant open bonnet and battery dead? Help!

Take off the grille.
You need a long long Phillips.
Access the screws in the wheel well to the forward. Use the long phillips to remove those.
Then remove the plastic pieces that fit into the grill - lower.
On the top you need to remove the top plastic cover over the radiator - or not.
You'll see 4 round little screws. These are actually pull screws.
I remember you have to unscrew a nylon screw type of plug.
Then pull up and it unlatches.
That gets the grill off.
Then you can fish around for the latch properly.
