behind the radio, but if all they need is switched power, then you can just put a fuse tap in on the radio fuse.
now if you want them to turn on and off with the radio then you need to wire them through a relay that is switched closed by the amp turn on wire coming from the radio.

there are no instructions... and the truck has no motor so this is a do it yourself job, anyways.. i wouldn't let someone touch this truck after my fire accident ... i trust no one
truck caught fire, i replaced the interior and my newer seats had tv in the head rest, so i wired them to my ipod and now i need 12v to power the screens... unless i wanna 12v battery in the back seat!!!
the motor is being rebuilt!!!

Sorry for reviving this thread as it is a little old, but it applies.
I'm looking for a place to tap in for my sub amp that I am about to install. I need a 12v+ accessory lead (switched for on/off) that tells the sub when to turn on and off.
In looking in my LR2 manual, I'm thinking of using a fuse tap in either the 15A Rear Accessory socket (never used, how ever it probably isn't switched), 10A Audio Unit, or 30A Audio amplifier.
How does adding an accessory lead increase the load? Do I have to worry about which rated fuse I tap into or going above the rated amperage?
Another question...are all the empty fuse slots dead or are they powered? Any way to tell what rating they are? The manual keeps them blank.
Thanks
Kevin
