I have a '03 Disco II that had the cat. conv. stolen @ my local auto shop. They replaced it @ no cost to me. Problem is there is a loud noise coming from it @ about 1500 rpm that fades away @ about 500 rpm either way. I had it checked out @ another shop and they said it was good work and equipment. Should I accept it or insist it be changed out? Would some other type produce better results? Anybody else ever experienced this problem? Thanks, Mark

 

What kind of sound is it? Rattling? Louder exhaust?
