Cd changer problem

Default Cd changer problem

its says that i have no disc in it....any answers on how to fix it...

Hey Ethan,
My past experiance with DVD players when having the same problem is the lazer eye needs cleaning. It gets dust/dirt on it then it will not read the disk. You can try getting one of those disk cleaners and trying that. If it doesn`t work then it will need to be done by a shop that fixs electronics. Unless it is broken somehow! Hope this helps a little.

You could try a can of compressed air,called aeroduster specially made for tvs videos computers ,made from clean inert gas.Try a radio TV shop,then blow dust off laser lens etc.CD cleaners can not cope with a lot of dust.

did you try to play another cd? try cleaning the CD cartridge holder with pledge or armorall. pull out each one and wipe them off/ also try aCD cleaner blow off the player with air and make sureyou close the door

I always just turn my radio off and then turn it back on!

haha.. that seems to work 99.9% of the time... if not, I jam the cd changer in there a couple times.. that seems to work also! :]
