Hey guys...I can get a 2000 disco transfer case fpr 75$ but when I compare that to a 04 transfer case the newer looks like it has more sensors......near the nipple compared to the older case

 

The 00 transfer case would work out fine with an 03. I don't think that there is any difference between the 00 and 04. The only diffenence that I can think of is that the 04 would have had the cdl linkage on it where the 00 just has the nipple.

 

the transfer case from the 2000 only had #11 from this picture in it... not #12, but the 2004 case that was right beside it had #12 and #11



i'm going to assume that my 03 transfercase has #12 and #11.... so can this swap work if #12 or #11 (one not being plugged in) isnt connected?

would a 2000 cdl swap work if either 12 or 11 wernt plugged in?

 

i'm going ahead with this tommroorw...... now i just need a d1 shifter ....or i can purchase a 04 shifter but the cable has been cut....can i order a new diff lock cable?

 

If you were wise, you would take the CDL diff from the 2000 and mount it to your 03 which has a slightly upgraded t/case.

 

That was my plan mike.....now I just need a shifter...

 

Okay I got the t case and.a 04 shifter for free....but vthe diff lock cable was cut.... anyone got ideas on how to make my own cable or repair this one....anyone know the length of the diff lock cable
