So what method did you use to enable the CDL? DI shifter? Something else?

I used the D1 shifted and modded it by cutting the end off both the D1shifterr and the factory shifted so that the small roll pin would still work and I could use the factor cable end. I bought the shifter off Craigslist for 25 bucks. And found a like new drive shaft for 45 bucks at LkQ in Portland Oregon shaft has grease able u joints .

if you can do the D1 CDL shifter in under an hour you should be able to install new 8mm wires in 15 mins..ready..set..go!

Any chance of seeing some pix of your D1 install? I'd like to see what you mod'ed up. Very impressed that you did that in under an hour...it took more longer than that to get the damn shift **** off...LOL!
