Here is my CDL. On the left you see the bare handle that shifts the rod (on the right sticking out) to the right. It will go into Diff Lock with no problem, but when i go to put it back into regular, unlock, and push it to the right the handle moves to the right, but the rod actually unlocking it does not! How can i fix this?
Thanks so much for input and help!

make sure the bolt on the part that selects hi/low is tight... if the piece inside is allowed to move then selected locked and unlocked wont work... its the bolt with the yellow on it in the pictures...

ok you know part of the linkage works the high-low and another part works the CDL. when switch the CDL there is a pin in the side of the T-case that moves in and out, but it's below that big thing on the right.

does the shifter have to be pushed down to operate the CDL. and if see where the shifter is in that circle object that surrounds it. it looks like it has TOO MUCH room so that the shifter when moving to lock and unlock doesn't actually hit the metal rim which moves the rod which engages the lock or unlock
Hoope that helps, THanks so much

no pushing down on anything. move the stick to the driver side- thats locked. move stick towards the dash and thats low gear. so.....left and up is Low gear with CDL engaged.

K, but what i'm saying is when i go to push it back to unlock it doesn't unlock b/c the shifter *** is too skinny and hits the wall of the body of the car w/out moving the circle that is connected to the rod, therefore not being able to move it to the right b/c there is no contact possible
