Default CDL Level install question

(excuse the punctuation error on the topic name -- I meant CDL lever install question, sorry 'bout that)

On my Disco I have learned that I have a functioning CDL by turning the bolt on top of the transfer case and I must add that it makes off roading much less stressful for me. The diff lock light (red) comes up on my dash and when I shift it off the light goes away. No other lights pop up which is nice.

Personally I don't like the TC since it is noisy and causes a ruckus with my break peddle when I manually use the brake while climbing obstacles. But that is another topic.

Anyhow, I am in the process of trying to order a kit and I can't locate the serial number for the transfer case or transmission. I know that they say you have to have a 41D or 42D prefix on the number but I just can't find it.

I did pull these numbers however --

-FRC 5415
-FRC 6104
-FTC 5010
-FTC 3178

I'm sure there are more people that are trying to find the number and I couldn't locate anything. I also have the manual and it doesn't say anything about where to find the numbers.

Thanks in advance

The S/N is on the back side of the T-Case behind the parking brake cable. Mine was completly covered in dirt and crap so you may need to clean it up to even see it.

Thank you very much. Turns out I have a 42D case so I'm stoked. I'll be ordering the hardware to operate the CDL tonight.

And Hilltoppersx... I love the ingenuity but I like things that look professional. I already have a chopped to death pathfinder... I don't need another one haha.

Good news on the T-Case. So where are you ordering the CDL from and how much?
