I'm putting an 04 cdl shifter in my 2000 disco ii, i'm wondering if I can keep full function of the t/c and abs, I dont have air lifts suspension so hdc don't really matter. If I used an 04 computer would everything work 100%, or an 03 computer since it didn't have the diff lock, if so what computer needs to be changed slab or ?any info would be appreciated. also if i put in air lockers, can you switch it on and off so its safer to driver and has the option to have lockers in both axles, without having steering trouble at higher speeds when its not engaged.

Not sure that a CDL linkage has anything to do with the computer. I put an 04 linkage in my 2000 D2 and all works as intended. Traction Control and ABS are still fully functional, as long as I engage and disengage the CDL when the truck is running.

Perhaps you have a different need, but the computer hasn't come into play here.

 

With an 2000, you will have all 3 functions and the ability to turn them off when wheeling if you want.
