Default CDL shifter not budging

I have recently purchased a 2004 Disco and the other day me and a buddy went out to play and when I went to lock the CDL and the shifter would not shift left. No matter what I did it wouldn't budge. It moves fine from high to low with it unlocked. Ive looked up under at the transfercase linkage and it doesn't look corroded or stuck. Ive looked up all over forums but cant find anything but switching older discos to CDL or installing new levers. Help please! I had to have my buddy winch me out with his little jeep and I'm hearing about it everyday.

If u have looked under truck, U should see the cable that moves the CDL small arm, but U can't see the arm itself, reach and feel it with your fingers, once u find it there is a nipple (the arm actually turns that nipple 1/4 turn) use a wrench or (any tool u like) to turn it. Most likely cable is stock but u will be able to turn it loose. Use lubricant between cable and it's sleeve to keep loose. Move The shifter few times a week so it doesn't get stuck again. Also can try lubing from top more work but better . (This is if nothing Broken)
