Default CEL Codes

Check engine came on this morning when my wife was driving; first she said it was blinking then turned solid. Read the codes and got P0305 and P1319. I know this is a misfire in cylinder 5 and a misfire caused by low fuel, the fuel light was on. Cleared the codes, drove to gas station, filled up and drove back. Codes did not come back on. Haven't had this happend before when the fuel level was low. It is an '01 with 115k on it. Any thoughts on what may be the root cause?

Thanks.

Tell you wife to not go under a 1/4 tank of gas or you will be replacing that fuel pump sooner then later cause it will over heat with little or no gas to cool it.

AMEN on that Mike, I try to refill at 1/2. The only time I go below is when I need a carwash, and try to save a few bucks by buying a carwash and getting $.10 less a gallon, then I let it get to 1/8 tank or so.
