Default CEL is on!! Need help!

I have a 2000 Disco II and about couple weeks ago my CEL came on and the engine started to run very poorly like it lost a ton of power so yesterday I tool it to my nearest Autozone for diagnostic and they pull 8 codes!:
P0300,P0301,P0302,P0303,P0304,P0305,P0306,P0307,P0 308 and they say that all my 8 cylinders are misfiring! also this morning after I started the truck my CEL was blinking for a few seconds!
I really appreciate any help from you guys,my husband is in Afghanistan and he referred me to this site.
Thanks.
Nikkie

My thoughts are with everyone serving and their families, I hope this war ends soon and that everyone returns safely. I'm ex army and been there and done that.
A flashing CEL is not good. Something has gone bad if all 8 are misfiring. There are 2 coil packs and normally only 1 goes bad, not both at the same time. Do you know if the spark plug wires and spark plugs have been replaced? The wires go bad over time because of the heat in the engine bay and cause misfires.
Where are you located? Maybe someone here can point you to a shop that can help out, or help out themselves.

Antichrist (Tom Rowe) is in Atlanta, maybe he can point you to someone. Go to the Member List and search for antichrist and PM him.

did whoever do them use new bolts? if they didnt the old bolts can't hold a tight seal and you will leak coolant into the cylinder causing misfires. the other idea could be the plugs and wires. we reccomend 8mm magnecor wires from apexperformance.net and bosch +4 platinum plugs or Iridium Plats.
