The biggiest issue with the TC swap is the weight! If you remove the back plate with the bearing/gear set you will have a TON more room to work/maneuver the TC in/out. Heck if you’re worried just grab the smartphone and take a few pics step by step to fall back on.

I also personally completely remove the E-Brake assembly to loose some weight and to gain access to the wiring.
