Default Central locking question

2002 Discovery II

Bought the thing a few weeks back for a weekend off road truck and trying to fix all the little things. The central locking has been giving me some trouble and I've hit a bit of a dead end with the knowledge I have. I'll run through everything I've done so far.

First off I don't have a working key fob (getting one programmed later this week) When I use the key to lock the driver door only the driver door will lock/unlock. The hazard light blink when I lock the door so I think that means the BCM is working and getting a signal but I could be wrong. The alarm works because I have opened the other doors checking to see if they locked and it went off. I drive the truck a few times a week and have pressed the inertia switch thinking that would help but nothing. I have also tried just unhooking the battery for a few hours and that also didn't help. All the fuses associated with the locks are good. When in the truck I can use the central locking switch to unlock the driver door only after I have manually pushed it down. It will not lock the driver door or any other door and will only unlock the driver door. When I drive the truck the driver door automatically locks shortly after taking off.

I talked to the guys at Roverparts.com and they suggested I replace the driver door actuator as they said it controls the rest of the doors. I just did that over the weekend and still nothing (I does that same thing), I replaced the central locking switch and nothing has changed. When I have my wife lock and unlock the doors with the key I can hear a clicking at all the door locks and the rear gate as well but nothing happens.

Could all of the door actuators gone bad before I bought the truck and now I have to replace them all, is there a relay or fuse I'm missing?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Josh

I know you know this already but Roverparts must have given you bad info. FYI my divers door actuator is the only one that does not work

Do you have the DII Electrical Library PDF? It and the DII Electrical Circuits PDF are companions to the RAVE Workshop Manual. The Electrical Library has an extensive Description and Operation chapter that includes a section covering central door locking.

I thought when you turned the key to unlock once only driver door unlocked. If you turn it again all doors unlock? Am I right?

Shaggy, that's correct but I'm skeptical that's the solution because the interior central locking switch doesn't work as it should either.
