Default Changing transmission fluid

This might be a stupid question, but is there a guide on how to change the trans fluid on a 99 Disco II? I just got it back from the shop and I'd like to change it but I'm not really sure of the process.

Quick question, how many miles on your truck and when was the tranny last serviced?

The truck has 72,000 miles on it and i bought it at 66,000 miles so I'm not really sure if the transmission was serviced by the previous owners. I had the fluid changed when I bought it but the overheat light has been coming on and in another thread it was reccomended I change the fluid. I checked it and it was a dark red color and seemed to be full. So I guess I need to change the fluid and if that dosn't work, I'll take it to a tranny shop.

You could have a couple things going on, tranny cooler could be restricted, internal tranny problem starting to show up or a faulty tranny temp switch.
If your fluid is dark red and doesn't have a burned smell to it, I would rule a fluid change unnecessary at this time.
