Default Check engine light

Higuys , I need your expertise and knowledge on an issue I have with my Discovery 96 Land rover. ( I already mention Mike my problem )
It is coming with the codes 1316 (misfire excessive emissions fault)
and 1138 Code ( Oxigen sensor. Engine rich "codes" AD ).
What do you think I should do it.
I read on the forum that others menbers of the Forum were abke to clean the MAF filter using K & N cleaner. I bouth one on the store but my mechanic said this cleaner is for the Air filter not for the MAF filter.
There is another one that I am missing/ and what are your ideas to have the codes fixed.

Default RE: Check engine light

NEVER try and clean a MAF, you will destroy it.
What you need is a good old fashined tune up, that means new spark plugs and spark plug wires.
A engine that isint well tuned will run rich, have mis-fires and because it is running to rich the O2's willbe out of range setting off a O2 fault.
