My 2001 disco II check engine light goes off when the gas tank is above the full line. once the level reaches the full line the light comes back on. anyone have any ideas what this is about???

 

Someone might be able to tell you exactly what it is right off the bat but in the mean time get your codes read at Autozone, they'll do it for free. Report back with the codes after that before any purchases. Don't want to waste money on problems that aren't there. Also read the through the new members and major service stickies at the top the list ASAP. Good luck.

 

Go get the code read when the light is on, that is a no brainer.
