I have a Land Rover Discovery 300TDi 1995, with an electronic Diesel controll sysem fitted to it - does any one out their know how to reset the check engine light - their are no obviouse problems with the engine.

You need to get the codes read with a engien trouble code scanner.
If the light is on that means that there is a problem, if the light is flashing that means DO NOT DRIVE as the fault is very serious and damaging to the truck.
You may not feel there is a problem but the computer does.
