Check This OUT!! 33inches no w/out lift...
Well it does look good, and I hope you show every one your right in what you did, but here are my concerns:
Can you make all your trimming pass as factory? Your resale just went down the tube if not.
You say you are running 33's? I am running 30.5's which means you are 1 1/4 more clearance under the diff, is it worth all the trimming?
Other than those things, I think it looks pretty cool.

A couple of days ago, when I was looking for fender extensions, the best ones I could get were about $300, and adding the shipping and taxes in my country, the cost would be between 500 and 600 bucks.... So... trying to find a cheaper alternative, I found this flexible flares... Have not found any Discovery with this kind of extensions, but if you want to try, please send me the pics!!!

Actually thats not completely true. If you cut the flares in half where the door meets the body and mount the flare to the door it could still turn out very well. Jeep Cherokee owners do this all the time and it looks great.
Here is a project where the flares are attached to the rear doors.

I had a 4wd Honda passport in high school and it had fender flares that were attached to the doors on it. Worked and looked great. It was factory so I'm not sure how easy aftermarket would be though.
