I just installed an OME 2" lift kit. Mty drive shaft now chirps. I lubricated the front portion with inserts but it did not help. Any ideas. Has anyone heard of this type of issue before?

Your double cardon is bad and about to break.
Tons of info on this if you search the forum for it.
Do NOT drive the truck until you get your front prop shaft rebuilt.
Borrow a car if you need to get to work tomorrow because when that breaks you WILL be buying a new transmission.

Only if he removes the front prop shaft.
But yes, as long as you remove the front propshaft you can lock the CDL into hi and drive your truck.
EDIT:He can only do this because he has the lockable CDL on the transfer case because it is a '04.

I wonder what kind of burn outs you could do in lo with only the rear driveshaft......

Don't consider this as a suggestion to TRY....

Mike told me the 3 amigos will cut on, so if you decide to go this route don't panic about those. They will cut off once u reconnect the shaft.

For sure do not drive it until you get the driveshaft rebuilt. That chirping noise it a bomb tick. That thing breaks while driving fast and your looking at 2-3k for a new transmission.

In the Jeep world, they call that the "angry sparrows". As everyone else said, don't ignore it and get it fixed ASAP.
