Thanks guys for all of the input. I "believe" I have isolated it to a pulley. I "greased the squeaky wheel" and this morning no chirping. Another bonus was the Service Engine Soon light turned off for my O2 sensor codes. I guess I finally cleared the system by driving it. The truck sat up for a few months until I bough it. so.....YEE YEE!!!! Now to track down the SRS light issue. Will be checking connections under seats this weekend. The SRS light turned off for a while yesterday then showed back up, which leads me to believe there is a loose connection somewhere. Can you guys point me to where I should start looking?

That's awesome news.

Our trucks are so different I can't be much help on the SRS but I can say that mine comes on intermittently and it is the air bag connector in the steering wheel. If you get the right scanner it will tell you exactly what is giving the SRS code.

Best of luck!

Mordo I know you are one of the esteemed members anm a work in progress so help me understand how it could be the driveshaft... Unless I misread, it happens when he is sitting still. The driveshaft should be immobile, no?
Yes, the drive shaft is immobile if the vehicle is stopped. My concern is that when you put the vehicle in gear, it does put torque on that front drive shaft. So my thought was that maybe that torque was flexing the double cardan joint that is in the process of failing, and vibration from the engine was causing the joint to squeak.

It's unlikely, but I've seen stranger stuff.

My SRS pops up very once and a while.
I just unplug them, they are under front driver and passenger seats and clean them and it goes away.
I think sometimes my kids big feet kick them around some and I think they are crappy connectors.

The drive shaft is indeed immobile when sitting still but you always want to check it regardless because the cats dry them out at different rates depending on your driving habits.
