CLD transfer from 2004 Dif to 2001 Disco with no CDL NIPPLE
I’ve been thinking of buying a CDL transfer case from 2004 Disco 2 to install on my 2001 with no CDL or “Nipple” on transfer case or put a diff lock on rear differential. Any thoughts ?
Are you sure your TC doesn't have a nipple? My 2002 did, so all I had to do to unlock the CDL-ness was order a 2004's transfer case shifter linkage.
Are you sure your 01 does not have it? Most 01's do. Would likely be cheaper to get one out of a 99 or 00 which should have the nipple. The 04 was the one with the shifter. You might also want the 03-04 slabs ecu.
I've been on a casual hunt for a decently priced SRD500070 for years with no luck.
