Default Cleaned TB per instructions, now engine is locked

Cleaned the throttle body exactly as described on this site's How To thread & now the engine is acting hydro-locked. The starter turned for about 1 second & "CHUNK"... Now that's all I get.

WHAT IS UP?!?!?

remove all of your spark plugs and keep them in order, then turn the starter over, if you hear a clunk stilll ....you'll need a new starter or a new engine

I have never had this problem and I have used a whole can before.
I will have to say that not all of the can went into the engine though.

This is the second post that I know of where somebody ran into problems after dumping a whole can in there.

Someone delete that post....

To the OP, let it air out a little, put your plugs back in and try to fire it.

Change you oil pretty soon as all of that probably washed your cylinders and is in your oil somewhat.

like someone else said, change your oil, look for metal in the filter and drain pan, reinstall the plugs and start the engine.... if you hear a clunk i think you might need a new starter, with the engine without pulgs it would be much easier to turn over and since it did turn over with no clunk, that rules out the rotating assembly being the cause of the noise....

but you must change your oil ASAP and try the starter again with plugs in the engine
